Seasonal Planning

Working collaboratively together, we love to design well-planned seasonal, annual, or multi-year approaches that will dramatically impact grades, SAT, ACT, and SBAC test scores, APRs, and, most importantly, the lives of students.

Together, we can integrate programs from season-to-season and year-to-year, leading students seamlessly in a continuum of instruction that will make a real difference for the students you serve. Read on if you’d like to learn more about how we can weave together summer programming with fall and spring semester solutions across your grade levels.

Summer Solutions

The summer is an amazing time when we have the opportunity to implement robust, full-length courses that dramatically move the needle on student achievement.

We believe that a well designed and implemented summer program can have profound impact when students’ attention isn’t divided amongst their regular school year activities.  Students can focus on:

  • catching up by filling in knowledge gaps

  • getting ahead by covering academic content they will see in the coming year

  • setting the stage for success on summer and fall SAT and ACT exams

But hey, summer is also fun.  That’s why it’s a great time to inspire your students with motivational Non-Cognitive Skills classes and super engaging Robotics classes.

We can collaborate with your program to give your students a comprehensive summer schedule, offering Math and English Enrichment courses at all grade levels, Foundations courses that develop core academic skills and integrate with future test prep courses, SAT and ACT Comprehensive Courses for rising seniors targeting summer test dates, and Non-Cognitive Skills and Robotics Courses that inspire students for college and beyond.

Fall Semester Solutions

The start of school in August and September is one of the most energy-filled moments of the year!  New teachers, old friends, new friends, new activities, etc.  In the midst of all these exciting times are wonderful times for us to advance student achievement:

  • Freshmen and sophomores can start or continue skill building for school and the standardized tests (that are fortunately still a few years off!) with our Foundations courses

  • Juniors can begin engaging in more serious efforts towards the SAT and ACT by understanding how to navigate the testing process for college admissions by participating in our informative Webinar, taking a Foundations course if needed, or maybe even beginning test preparation in earnest in one our SAT and ACT shorter Intensive Courses or our longer Customized Comprehensive Courses

  • For seniors, it is time to really buckle-down for their last opportunities at admissions tests, so they will best be served by focusing on our shorter SAT and ACT Intensive Courses if time is tight, or our longer Customized Comprehensive Courses if possible

Spring Semester Solutions

With first semester behind them, freshmen and sophomores have a stronger sense of the academic areas that may need to be addressed, juniors are possibly readying themselves for their first shot at the SAT or ACT, and seniors are not taking their foot off the academic pedal (too much at least!) and are hopefully enjoying the homestretch of a rewarding high school experience.  Other than their all-important school work, here’s where we recommend students focus in the spring:

  • Freshmen and sophomores can start or continue skill building for school and the standardized tests (that are fortunately still a few years off!) with our Foundations courses

  • Juniors could benefit from taking SAT and ACT Practice Exams in real testing conditions on campus before or after Winter Break to understand which test represents them best

  • Traditionally, students are taking their first official SAT or ACT in 11th grade.  We therefore recommend juniors are actively preparing for these important tests with our SAT and ACT Customized Comprehensive Course or if time is at a premium, our shorter Intensive Course
